DIALOGUE X 2011 Munich.

Press Release 10th February 2011 for Immediate Release

A Dialogue Collective in collaboration with 84GHz
@ Kunstgieberei Schwabing
18th-20th March 2011

The Dialogue Collective have been meeting at secret locations in central London for the past few months to bring you their latest venture – Dialogue X (the hunt for treasure). Each member received a brown envelope containing ten random directions. Their given starting point on the map was Charing X – the actual point for measuring the distance to and from London. The Hunters final location became the starting point for the body of work for this show.

Dialogue Collective is a group of artists with a passion for Jewellery and Silversmithing in the broadest sense of these two disciplines. The Dialogue Collective consists of makers with a direct connection to London Metropolitan University aka The Cass, and invited guests. The remit is to develop new ways to create and show Jewellery and Silversmithing through making and discussion, bringing contemporary jewellery to new audiences.

This exhibition is housed in a working foundry and incorporates a Shoppery selling a variety of work made by the Dialogue X Collective.
